Restaurant Table
Tablecloth or Placemat: Start by covering the table with a clean tablecloth or placemat. This provides a clean and attractive base for the setting. Plates: Place the dinner plate in the center of the setting. If you’re serving multiple courses, you can add additional plates accordingly (e.g., salad plate on top of the dinner plate). Utensils: Arrange the utensils in the order they’ll be used, working from the outside in. For a basic setup, you’ll typically need a dinner fork on the left side of the plate, a dinner knife (blade facing inward) on the right side, and a teaspoon or soup spoon to the right of the knife. If serving dessert, you can add a dessert fork and spoon above the dinner plate or to the side.
